i love spring time and march. this morning as i was going to work, i notived that all of the shamrocks i planted are fully grown and now have these beautiful little yellow flowers blooming on them too. it was so beautiflu and made my day. they are all over the yard.
of course, you ARE in Florida!!!
It was 20 degrees and snowing here this weekend. We have quite a bit more to go before we get to “spring”.
Spring?
I don’t think the tree sap is flowing yet where I live.
The Nettles in my yard are still under about a foot of snow.
I wish it WAS here. My favorite time of the year.
unfortunately it wont last long, becaues it always fells like summer here until about jan-mar.
SIGH…spring! Oh, to have spring springing where I am. But alas! I am in the North Country, where spring will not be upon us until summer 
I’m curious what it is you have planted that has yellow flowers. Shamrocks are just clover, and I have never seen clover with a yellow flower.

And here in the South Country(or Southern Tier as it is called) it may come a little eariler but not by much. But Spring seems to last a little longer in NY than NJ, where it seemed to be in the 90’s by Memorial day when I lived there.
I am sick of snow, even if winter did come later this year. Record wind chills tonight. Ugh.
But I am looking forward to spring and maybe digging up a wintergreen plant that the deer ate to the ground . . . if it’s still alive, that is. I was such a herb fan and now I have the gardening bug to set up some herbs in containers on the deck(where the deer can’t eat them). Yes, I am itchy for spring and always envying the people who live in more temperate climates and get to have rosemary and lavender and geraniums all year round.
oh yea, they can have purple, pink, white, and yellow flowers. they are beautiful. you can buy a pack of seeds on ebay.
Spring is arriving here as well. The robins are in town, the frogs in the creek were croaking the other day, and there is a red-tailed hawk sitting on a nest a quarter of a mile from here.
(Now if only it weren’t a violation of federal la to own feathers from a bird of prey, I’d check under the nest for a shed tail feather for my NAF!)
