I GOT MY FIRST OVERTON!

Hey Everybody out there in Fippleland!
I got my first Overton today: a blue anodised low D. I AM IN LOVE!! All the great things that you said about this whistle are true. The only other low D I have is a Cook, and this is so much easier to
play with a much lower air requirement. This
whistle can almost do anything. I really thought that my WHoA would be finally cured,
but I only think that this has made it worse.
Now my husband wants one, but HE CAN’T HAVE MINE! I don’t think that I will let it out of my sight or anybody touch it for quite some time.

hi, that really sound great, I myself have got a Dixon lowD, am also happy with it, but I think it’s just a matter of time til I get an overton…sigh.

Ah… “sigh”… I am still counting the days, the weeks, the months… till that glorious news of when my overton low D will be completed…

Congrats! I’ve got one of those myself, tuneable but not anodized. It isn’t too difficult to figure out why they are sometimes called “cosmic drainpipes,” is it? I love the tone mine has.
