I can't not share this picture.

Heh. But from his preferred grip, I’m afraid he’s going to grow up to be a tabor piper…

Cute! One hand on the pipe, one drumming on the table… looks like you’ve got a Morris music player on your hands, Jessie.

(Edited to add: D’oh! ChrisA beat me to it!)

She’s a girl!
(I’m wondering which whistle got sacrificed to the cause–I have a Clarke D which I let a little nephew play when it becomes politically necessary.)

Cute picture! Be careful about unstructured exposure to music, though…yesterday, I was practcing on a whistle, and my 4 year old son came running into the room with a bodhran held high over his head, plunked down on the chair next to me, and started beating it like a djembe!

I’m afraid he’s already got all the signs of a reprobate…I’m not sure if intensive violin training can correct the flaw in his moral character, but we shall see…

What a great shot! I’ve got a similar one of my daughter at about the same age with…er…a recorder. I also have a Generation whistle, however, that bears her teeth marks to this day!

Redwolf

He’s a girl? Sorry! The ‘joey’ in the link name fooled me. I’ve known girls that go by ‘Jo’ and by ‘Josey’ but never by ‘Joey’, but why not.

When may we expect her “Whistle Reviews for the Under Five Set” series to start?

She has Sweetones, Susatos, Gens and Feadogs.

Sometimes I let her play Copelands.

Not only cute , but off to a really good start ! Thanks for sharing a recent shot. My how she’s grown ! Best Wishes !!

Have a Great Day and Fun Whistlinng !!

She is really cute…just showcasing my grasp of the obvious.

Philo

She gets to play better whistles than I do okl maybe just the Copelands.

That’s adorable.

I used to let the girl I babysit play with my flute and whistles whenever I’d take breaks from practicing while watching her… gotta watch it now though because if I leave any of my whistles where she can see them after band practice on Sunday mornings then she typically finds them and attempts to deafen everyone entering the church building (as the only way she knows how to play is insert whistle into mouth, blow as hard as possible). Sadly, I had to start separating her from whistling for that reason (and I really hate having to wash the fipples right before playing in front of people)

Kelp is very high in nutritional quality iodine. My wife takes some every day.

Perhaps this could be your new Avatar? Your old one is begining to look like an accident with a baby and some superglue.

She will grow the musician, undoubtedly

Geez. I suppose this is supposed to be humorous as opposed to cruel? Whatever.

I love your current avatar! That baby has a million dollar smile!

Redwolf

No, I wasn’t trying to be cruel and Im sorry if it came across that way.

Perhaps it is the humor/humour divide rearing its ugly head again…
