They make a sort of umbrella with their wings, and hunt under it. The Attenborough DVD said it might be because fish are attracted to the shadows (they think it’s shade from vegetation).
Those herons are very Goth-looking, aren’t they? 
No. They’d need red (or powder white) lips.
Yeah, and another difference-- instead of having multiple piercings, they do the piercing. 
They also have orange toes. That ruins it. Orange is a non-Goth color.
I wonder why they have orange toes?
To see where they are putting their feet underwater…incase they step in something nasty???

ps…I went through all sorts of colours on my hair when I was a goth. Perhaps he’s a goth with a sense of humour??? I think I had orange shoes once too…
