Just got the electric back on. It’s been off since Monday morning. We got hit by a major freak ice storm for the second time this year. It happened already, back in the first part of the year. This time the tree limbs came crashing down, and it’s as much a disaster area as before. My roof is leaking and there are branches poking all the way through the roof of the back porch, too.
We’d cut down one tree and trimmed others severely back, in hopes of preventing a recurrence. It didn’t work.
Glad to hear you are ok. I thought about you and some other folks I know out that way when I heard about that weather. Then I was thankful it was not here.
I confess, I like global warming if it means I don’t have to drive in snow/ice all day.
