Ahh, I’ll give it a try, I’ve just been playing with the slide all the way closed. Can it really make that much of a difference to pull the slide in or out?

It’s interesting to see how some whistles respond to/require different fingerings than the standard. It’s kind of interesting how you can even have several different fingerings for the same note on the same whistle. I like having these different sound textures to play with.
