It’s that time again! As some of you know, whenever I see a discussion about the Howards I have to let people know that I have one to pass on for $75. Plain old silver, a couple of years old. A Reyburn receives most of my low whistle play. PM if interested.
I just thought I’d put my two cents in on the Howard Low D. It has a strength that a lot of Low whistles lack, a very strong Low D note. Mine just sings down there. It’s not as sweet in the upper octave or as responsive as my new Kerry Pro, but it has the Kerry beat on that bottom note by a long shot. I think the Howard is way under rated. If I had 75 bucks, I would have another Howard Low D.
