How to increase patience??

All,

I’ve been waiting for my new flute to come. (Burns Boxwood Rudall with tuning slide and rings) I am going crazy waiting!!! How do you guys wait so long? I’ve only been waiting a minscule time compared to an Olwell or Hammy, and I can’t imagine waiting that long! ARG! I close my eyes and I can see the flute. I’ve visited Casey’s website about a million times since I’ve ordered. I asked Casey to email me when he ships it, but last time he didn’t. Does anyone know if that’s common with Casey or just a slip last time? Anyway he told me ‘sometime in May’ it’s the 4th, it’s sometime!!!

Anyway, it’s been a while since I’ve posted and I’m going insane with anticipation… But I do feel better now! :smiling_imp:

Cheers,
Tony

Go for a walk in the Bear bearing woods in your bearfoot slippers .You will find life so exiting you will forget all about flutes . You may find you have a grizzly future .

Use the time to learn Portuguese. Then move to Rio de Janeiro.

You just have to learn to relax…here is a picture of me when I was waiting for my Seery (it only took about 3-4 months to get it):

LOL, Jayhawk!!

Anyway, just keep playing and imagine how great it’ll be when the time comes. Setbacks happen. I know.

Tony,

Your wait will be worth it. I did the same things (visiting the website, etc, etc.) when waiting for my Burns Boxwood Rudall. I love the sound of boxwood. Casey makes good-playing, responsive flutes. I think my wait was about four months–not bad at all, when you consider the craftsmanship required.

Well, Tony, I was just wondering what happened to you!

Don’t bug the maker!

Spend your waiting time playing your other flutes

And eat lots of chocolate!
