How many excuses can you come up for having WHoA?

  1. I needed one for every room in the house.
  2. I must be getting old, I forgot I ordered this one.
  3. This one was so lonely, I had to buy it some friends.
  4. How many whistles have you bought this month, NOT ONE :smiley:

What are some of your excuses…this should be good.

Excuses! We don’t need no excuses.

  1. I don’t have one of everything.

  2. They don’t cost as much as my wife’s craft habit.

  3. They are not as expensive as other vices.

  4. After all it’s just a whistle.

  5. Why not?

I had €4 in change in my pocket, and as I couldn’t spend it when I was back in England, I figured one more whistle wouldn’t hurt.

Well, the one I used yesterday was, “Oops. I just bought a whistle on eBay.” She said, “Oops?!” I said, “Yeah, I was positive someone would outbid me. It’s a really nice whistle.” Worked!

that reel I’ve been working on just didn’t sound right with the whistles I had.

if the maker dies I’ll never be able to get one and I’d regret it for the rest of my life

it was on sale! (always works for the female spouses :slight_smile:)

there was a big price break on the shipping when you oder more than 30

If you don’t have one of every kind ever made (that means every, known makers, new makers, high end, cheapies, every key and combination of materials), how can you possibly tell which is the best one for you that you’ll ultimately keep? Duh…

It’s research! How can I improve my own whistles if I don’t see what all those other maker’s are doing…

If I needed an excuse, I could just mention to the Hubby, the thousands of $ of choo choo’s and layout stuff in the basement. :roll:

But,

It’s really magic for me, You know, “The Crystal people” I just keep WINNING them! Hee Hee Hee Hee Hee… :laughing:
