How far is Carrboro from Asheville?

I tried to mapquest it, but I just don’t know how to work that dang site.

216 miles according to Yahoo maps.

Thanks chas.

It’s about twice as far as Carrville is from Ashboro.

and,

Thank you.!

Or you can use the “get directions” feature on Google maps. Just type in the two town names. The mileage will pop up with the directions.

Used to be Google maps had a sense of humor. For instance you could type in New York city and London and part of the directions included swimming east XXXX number of miles.

You coming to Chapel Hill?

I’m glad you all are talking about this. I’ll be working in Raleigh for the next few weeks and have to make a stop in Pittsboro… anyone ever been there?

I was thinking about going to the CTL concert there, but it might be too far away.

And here I thought this thread would be grilling related.

Yeah, it’s like a 3-4 hour drive. I take
it you’re not in Tampa anymore? 'Cause
they’re going to be in Fort Myers…

EDIT: Oh, nevermind.

You know you’re location still says Tampa,
right?

There used to be a session there that
I would go to, but it’s gone now. It’s
a nice little place. Very wooded.

Huh?

Thank you, I just forgot to change it. Plus, I didn’t know if my residency in N.C. would be permanent or not.

Well, that explains it! I thought it odd that you mentioned having ice a few weeks ago.

  yes, I probably left a few people confused talking about ice and stuff with my profile saying I still live in Tampa.

One of my all-time favorite restaurants used to be in Carrboro: Aurora, in the Carr Mill Mall. I wonder if they’re still there? I have dreams about their pasta primavera…
