How do you save sound clips?

I just got a new 6-year-old Macintosh Power PC 7600, and have been on-line for a month. I don’t know too much.
It has QuickTime Player 6, which plays sound clips, but doesn’t keep them. It seems like a great way to practice tunes, if only I could store them in the computer.
Help!

Sometimes you can right-click and d/l to your system instead of playing. Sometimes not. It is up to the gods to determine which and when.

Check out my VIRUS thread to find out how to improve your Mac. (It’s a joke)

Last time I used a mac (which was admittedly years ago) you coudln’t right click. They only have one button on the mouse. But you can click and hold a link (as opposed to click and release), and after a second or two, a menu will pop up. One of the options should be something along the lines of “Save target as”. Selecting that should let you save many types of files to your hard drive.
