I want to add an avatar. When i TRY IT WON’T GO BECAUSE my picture upload is 30.74. I have no idea how to change it. I take pictures with a Sony camera on floppy discs and upload. I am computer illiterate. Please help 
on a PC, assuming you don’t have a better tool, open you picture in “Paint” and under “Image/Attrubutes” make it smaller and then “Save as”
repeat as necessary…
Your pic needs to be 110 x 110 pixels or smaller, and file size <= 30,740 bytes.
Load your avatar pic into your favorite photo editor, and resize it so the largest dimension, H or W, is <= 110 pixels. Save the resized pic to disc as a new file <= 30,740 bytes, then upload that via your User Control Panel.
