It looks like I’m going to be in Houston next week on business and was wondering if there was any chance of finding a session. I’m there from Monday (Sept 5) until Friday (Sept 9) so any chance to get in a few tunes between work and work would be great.

Oh, bad timing. I just got word yesterday that our Sunday session has been cancelled. Apparently we were bothering folks trying to watch football. And our Wed session is off that week, the place that hosts it occaissionaly has performances instead, and that Wed is one of those times.
If a house session crops up or an alternet venue is found I’ll send you a pm. Feel free to send me your email.
I would hope you post it on the Chiff and Fipple City Guide forum.

Darn ! And I had’nt even made it yet ! 
yeah well, they had a crappy beer selection anyway. 
However, any bar that’s supposed to have an Irish theme and prefers American football over a session shouldn’t have a portrait of Willy Clancy painted on the wall.
