We’re down to one full session at the Mucky Duck on most Wednesdays. Check here to make sure there ins’ t conflicting show. Hurricanes and general laziness has kept me away for a couple weeks.
We also have a slow session the 2nd and 4th sunday of each month on the northwest side, but you may find that too boring.
There’s been talking of having a house session every once in a while to make up for the cancelled sessions due to whiney football fans, but so far nothing has come of it. Houston’s kinda in a downturn Irish music-wise right now.
I am planning on trying on Wednesday a session at the Beverly Pub in Houston. I have been going on and off to Mucky Duck, but the sessions there are a little bit inconsistent. beowulf is right to say the sessions down here are going downhill, but perhaps, if the Mucky Duck does not fit your fancy, come try the Beverly Pub.
