You’re a brave man - or were you not supervising at the time. I let my son play my whistles (see avatar) but flutes are out of bounds. If he ever broke my flute I would have to sell him to finance a new one! (If I ever want a new flute I may just sell him anyway

NO it´s a M&E polymer-stick. I don´t care much about it anymore.
It’s best to check before you order, most makers will not accept children as payment.
What a shame.
I have two kids and I could need a keyed flute.
Perhaps before ojvoj was around . . . I recall Greg Collins posting a horror story that one of his kids (probably a son) had knocked his Rudall & Rose off something and broken a tenon.
So it happens, people. Beware the babies. I hope Greg doesn’t have post-traumatic stress disorder or this thread might send him running for the thorazine.

Love the photos !! My daughter is now two and a couple of months, so I have a special appreciation for what I’m seeing! Maya handles all of my instruments, but I’ve worked with her since she was very young and still its with ‘close’ supervision. She loves to be around when I have an instrument out and nods her head in affirmation when I ask if she going to be a ‘player’. 
Beautiful kids you have - you are very blessed. Thanks for the photos of the Murray. I have an instrument from Sam Murray and one from Marcus Hernon on their way this Spring.
