Does anyone have a Hoover whitecap for a high d clare that they are willing to sale?
If you don’t get any leads here, Steve, I’d recommend contacting Mack Hoover directly. He’d be happy to fit one directly to your clare, and he also has a 100% satisfaction policy. Undoubtably an excellent maker to work with.

I might have to do that. I saw his post here a little while ago saying that this month he is done taking orders, so i might have to try next month. If I send the whistle to it, can he attach the whitecap for me?
Yup! I’d contact him this month anyway and see what he suggests.
He sure can and will. Mack just did one for me a couple of months ago and it turned a probelmatic whistle into a real pussycat.
The Clare is a standard size tube, but letting Mack fit it for you will assure a good fit.
I am awaiting a Hoover/Oak whistle from Mack. I think it will be one of my favorites from everything that has been said about them. I would email Mack and ask what you need to do. That’s what I did.
