Hoover Low D

Mack was kind enough to gift me with a low D this weekend when he was here. The sound just blows me away, as well as the innovative design. First off the tone is so rich and full almost a flutey sound. It is loud enough to play in sessions without getting drown out. Perfectly in tune, and tuneable so you can tune to those who’s instruments aren’t tuneable. A unique design allows the 3rd and 6th holes to be offest to the right OR left to allow ease of play by right handed players or left, and this whistle has got to have the least finger stretch of any low D I have seen or played.
This is a beauty folks, no doubts about it.

Sounds good Ron… can you offer some pictures and/or sound files for us to check out?

This is Mack Hoover’s CPVC low D right? Does he make any low D’s in brass. Ya that would be really awsome if you could get some pictures, or sound files. Talk to y’all later.

I have a roll of film I need to finish up so I’ll take a couple of pics of it and post some soundclips on clips and snips this week when I get a chance
