How do I tell my wife?
Well first, you show her your avatar. Then while she’s giving you the whatfor, you mention the whistles.
Why dont I just pour a can of gasoline on a raging fire?
Maybe, just maybe that avatar IS his wife… 
Then he’s got more problems than having 14 whistles.

Just because you mentioned that you have 14 whistles here doesn’t mean you have to go and tell your wife, does it?
If that avatar is your wife I would think she’d be cool with it.

I also have 14 whistles, not counting two copper home-mades, and not counting the half-dozen Megs that I keep to hand out to kids interested in whistles.
Edit: 15! I forgot to count the Meg on the dashboard of my pickemup truck.
I make sure they are never seen all in one place at the same time…
