Hmmm... vWhistle?

Some of you may have seen/heard about the vPipes:

I wrote Ramon and got this response:

In response to your direct question we are actually thinking of developing
the vWhistle, with an air pressure sensor to achieve the octave changes, but
not for the immediate future I’m afraid. In the meanwhile we are looking at
ways of introducing different fingerings on the vPipes as you suggest.

So we have a few years to wait, I wont sell all my whistles yet if the V pipes are anything to go by, they do sound good to my ear but I’m not a piper, I’m not that great a whistler, but you can’t beat blowing into a tube with six holes and no 9 volt plug.

sponge

Very cool. Any idea of the cost?

I don’t think they’ve said anything about costing yet, but other electronic chanters sell from $200-500.
