Date/location? It looks like a tionol of the early/mid 1970s, and I’m probably somewhere just out of shot - that’s assuming that the head of as yet ungrey hair in the foreground isn’t yours truly’s.
'70s, eh? Puts me out of the running as photographer, then…I’d have been busy making mudpies (well, claypies; Hong Kong doesn’t have proper mud). I guess those ties are kinda wide, too, now that you mention it.
Perhaps there were other pipers featured that evening who made it onto camera…?

Well done, Dionys. There was something that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Ennis seemed a bit youthful, his hair a bit orange-coloured in comparison with the complexion, and the grin looked a little too broad, but how on earth could anyone have missed what retrospectively looks glaringly obvious?
I suppose it’s the same process of seeing what you expect to find that allows Bush to see the connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda.
Oh, and well done BC, too. A little early for April fool’s, but you found at least one sucker.
I think the pipers is PLAYING “The Old Bush”…I can kinda see the disconnection. The old cowboy from Texas just got his own neck caught in a lasso.
