Most of us have likely read the story that comes with Clarke whistles, and I thoroughly enjoyed Norman Dannatt’s historical info on the antique Clarke collection, but I for one would love to have some information on the history of Generations.
The posting regarding the antique Generation recently auctioned on Ebay got me searching. I’ve found very little.
The only Generation whistle I’ve ever owned is a pipe and tabor pipe, and a good one.
I’ve been trying, off and on (and more off than on) over the years to establish a contact with Generation. I recently emailed them again and this time got a response which was courteous and amounted to–this is a very busy time for us but we’ll get back with you soon. Maybe that’s progress. In any case, I’d really like to develop the history you’re describing.
