Hi.

Howdy, folks. I’ve decided things are under control enough that I can start coming back here once in a while. I’ve already jumped into a few unsuspecting conversations with my trademark irrelavant comments. Ahh now, that feels good…

Here’s a partial list of what I’ve been up to since I was around:

124 chickens raised from babies (oops, bbq for dinner tonight; make that 121), one creatively homemade coop from recycled lumber, 200 trees/bushes, one quarter mile long drip system for same, seven truckloads of firewood, one week of Wyoming Bible Camp, the halfway point of my masters degree, a redesigned website (work in progress), a newly lined and stocked pond, the start of a new recording project, and a renewed belief in the living God.

There are lots of pictures and such on my website, for anybody who is parched for scenes of rural Wyoming bucolicness. (bucolocity? bucolitude?) Below are a few of my favorites from the summer.

I’ve missed you guys (during the five minutes I had to think about it). Good to be back.

Awww! Chickens are so cuuuute!

Hey Tom! Welcome back. I still haven’t made it out to Wyoming in the last few years, but I’ll definitely let you know if I do in the future.

Butane?

Delicious, too!

btw, I like the new name. And the quote. Well chosen.

Thank you!

When I was a kid, I guess around 9 or 10 years old, I had a big red hen named Henrietta (original, eh?) who lived in a pen outside my house. Chickens (in my experience) as so stupid, but fun to watch, especially if you give them a worm.

Pretty! I love the picture of the sun rays!

Welcome back!

Hi, Red! We do get the sunsets out here.

Jack, try having 120 chickens and throwing in a big grasshopper. The very definition of mayhem.
