My laptop easily runs You Tube videos and any kind of video, but when I try to watch one of the many (and interesting, I believe) videos on Kerry whistles web site (tutorials, reviews, etc…) it takes ages to stream/ download them, with repeat interruptions every few seconds to download the next part.
Do you also have the same problem or it is just me ? In this case, can someone have a suggestion ?
My laptop is Dell with 2GB of Ram, quite recent, flashplayer and everything else included.
Thank you !
Hello Gerardo,
I don’t know specifically about how adequate your computer is to listen to the Kerry Whistle audio clips, but there are some suggestions in a recent thread about it here:

One of the problems may be that 2GB RAM is barely enough. These days 4MB is almost a minimum. I’m having terrible problems running a Mac on 2GB and the same issues as you. Can you upgrade the RAM on your Dell? You should be able to fairly cheaply. Go to www.crucial.com or Orcalogic’s website and use their scanners to check for available upgrades. I think increasing the RAM would certainly help.
I had no problem watching a video there on my budget PC with 225 MB of RAM. Maybe it’s your internet connection.
a link would have been helpfull ![]()
anyway, found it by the link from greenspiderweb
so no problems here with those videos
i do have problems with youtube during the last days but i think that has to do with the youtubeservers … cause it was good before
by the way, interesting website, didnt know it yet
My computer says it has 495 MB of RAM, but I get messages all the time that says virtual memory is low, and Windows is increasing the size. Maybe I need to increase my RAM or, might it have something to do with the video card?
IME the low virtual memory message has been due to a program I closed but it stayed in memory. The Opera browser does that once in a while, especially after going to sites like Facebook or YouTube. You might wanna check Task Manager’s process list and see if there’s something still running that you know you closed.
