Hello!
I started playing the flute (a C flute) about a month ago.
My question is I’m recently having a terribly tough time playing “E” (lower octave) and I never had a problem before.
How can I know if it’s me or the flute?
(Granted, I purchased the flute for relatively cheap from eBay. hehe (faults: the flute has a left-handed mouth piece, while the body and foot joints are right-handed)but I have been managing quite well nonetheless)

The problem may well be with the flute, particularly if you are getting the other notes reasonably well. The “E” is usually one of the weakest notes. Get another player to try the flute if you can.
