Help needed with my new Mac

Hi Gang,

Got a new Mac and am loving it.

Just one question…how the heck do I right click with this rascal?

Congratulations on the new Mac - it’s all I’ve ever used since my first one in 1988!

Go to system preferences, found in the upper left of your screen under the apple symbol. There you will find the controls for your mouse and more options for it that you can shake a stick at!

Also, note that you don’t have to use the mouse that came with the
mac. You can plug in any USB mouse, including ones that have 2 buttons.

But, in the mean time, “right click” in the Mac world is called “control-click”
because to perform that operation, you hold down the “Control” button while
left clicking.

Yet another mac owner.
I use a 15 inch MBP, but it was bought by my company. Would never buy it myself. It is not worth its money.

Thanks for asking that question Doc! I’ve had a MAC now for about a year and had no idea that I could change the preferences on the mouse. Fantastic!!!
