First post, after about two years of occasional lurking. How exciting!
A bit obscure, this, but I was wondering if anyone could help me find out the name of a tune. It’s on the “Music at Matt Molloy’s” album (RealWorld) and is played on track two - whistle (Eb) and guitar only. On the album sleeve the first two tunes of the set are jointly labelled “Cape Breton jigs”, but I’m sure they must both have names. It’s the first one I particularly need, although if anyone happens to know both…
It’s just that I’m supposed to be playing it at a wedding in a couple of weeks and it would be nice to put a name to it!
