Help, looking for a sound.....

Okay, okay, I know what kind of sound I’d like to have in a whistle, kind of a cross between a clarke orig. and a generation.

Things I Like about the clarke:
-Has chiff, doesn’t flip up to the second
octive too easily, not too shrill in the upper octive
Things I Don’t Like about the clarke:
-Too breathy (too much chiff), too airy.

Things I Like about the Gen.:
-Pure sound.
Things I Don’t Like about the Gen:
-Hard to get a good one, not enough chiff, kind of shrill in the upper octive.

So what I’m looking for is a whistle that has a pure tone with a little chiff, good responsiveness (takes ornimentation well), not too shrill in the upper octive (wont make people flinch when I hit that upper B on Danny Boy, and that will wash windows (well maybe not the last one)

What whistle has this sound and characteristics? Dixon, parkhurst, elfstone, silkstone, sindt, water wheasel, or what?
Am I looking for the impossable?
Ahhh!
thanks

Edited to fix tha stupid smilie thingy

Perhaps a Burke in brass…I play an aluminum one, but I had the two played for me over the phone, and the brass one (as I remember hearing it) seems to capture what you’re looking for.
Perhaps someone who actually owns one can comment more fully.

Hmm, ok.

Anyone have any other thoughts?

I think a brass Burke wide bore (Session Pro) would be a good bet.

Ok, I’m gonna go for the burke brass. Thanks for the advice!
