The brass fitting that connects my bellows to the air tube has come off its plastic valve. I need to reglue this fitting and wonder if anyone has recommendations for the glue. I need also to repair a pin-prick hole between the bellows leather and that same plastic valve.
It’s a Kirk Lynch bag and bellows and I’ve emailed him, but want this fixed in a hurry.
Any suggestions?
hmmm, I’m looking hard at my Lynch bag/bellows and don’t see any plastic valve. Got a picture?

You don’t usually see the plastic part. From the bag projects a brass connecting tube just under two inches long. That brass tube is attached inside to a plastic tube that goes into the bag, where it is glued and tied in place. I need to get the brass tube reattached to the plastic tube. If I can figure out how to get a picture attached to the reply, I’ll post one tomorrow.
