My daughter bought a whistle for $6 at a garage sale and was wondering if someone might be able to identify it, where it was made, and how much it might be worth (not that she is interested in selling, she is just interested)
The whistle appears to be old and has a cigar label-like logo that says “M & Co.” Above the logo is written “Perfect” Below the logo is written “Tune”. It is all brass (except the area below the mouthpiece which seems to be lead). There are three groups of what look like etched bands, above and below the logo and at the base. It has a very nice tone and appears to be tuned to “D”.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
