Kind regards from Brittany.

All I see are pictures of a very nice old stone cottage. What am I missing?
Ah, s/he’s fixed the link above. It’s now a downloadable zip with the MP3.
And the tune is The Gold Ring (the GMaj setting): https://thesession.org/tunes/1371
Hildegard, note that there is also a commonly played DMaj setting also called The Gold Ring, but it’s a different tune: https://thesession.org/tunes/1351
You’ll also sometimes see/hear the Irish title An Fáinne Óir.
Thank you so much, if ever you pass by in Brittany, please, feel welcome for a pint.

i first heard this tune on tommy keane’s first album - the last part sounds the same to the other ‘gold ring’ i know of, the one o’flynn plays on ‘the piper’s call’ and matt molloy on his first solo album - whose piping does each setting go back to? ennis? clancy? any links to older recordings i’d appreciate being shared
