Hello from a newbie.

Hi folks, I am new to the forum and new to Whistle playing. I bought a whistle some years ago with the intention af learning to play but life took over and I never found the time :frowning: I have now bought two whistles, a Clarke D Sweetone and a Shaw in C. Im still getting to grips with them, but enjoing the sound of the Whistle. I have a few tunes that I am learning but would like to be able to play " A Night in Summer Long Ago" I have searched the Tinternet and can only find chords for guitar. Can anyone out there point me in the right direction as to where I can find the fingering for the whistle to this lovely tune? Many thanks in advance.

Coldo.

I can’t help you with the whistle fingering for the tune so I’ll suggest just keep listening to it and try to finger thru it raw. If you can slow the tune down that would be helpful while matching tones.

I just wanted to say welcome to the whistle forum though, and enjoy your whistling.

Thanks Ytliek, I’ll do my best.
