I post way to much as it is but do have to comment on those powerful headlights, able to kill a deer.
Just think if the whole car had come along!
I could just imagine the “COPS” theme song when they quoted the CHP guy about “being in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Not only to kill it, but they propelled it into the victim.
I was driving to work on the San Pablo Dam Road, know as The Dam Rd to the locals- reservoir on one side, wooded hills on the other. Saw a beautiful buck with huge antlers dash across the road about 2 cars ahead of me. I was watching him bounding up the hill when I rear-ended the stopped car in front of me. doh!. Heh, heh, they were worrying about hitting the deer and got hit from behind. heh, heh.

Carcasses aplenty on that road. The dang water company, who owns both sides of the road for watershed, just leaves 'em there. Since its stop and go at the time I use it, I see more than I want. CSI Roadkill.

Or at least not in front of me. I leave home around 730am. Quite a lot of racoons lately, usually at the center line. Unfortunately those turkey vultures are unwilling to land near the road. Must be frustrating for them.

Can airborne deer be transmitted by sneezing?
Went huntin’ th’uther day with my Ford. 
We have a large overpopulation of small deer on this island, and they pick fights with cars regularly. I’m just thankful they’re not moose.
