Have we heard from other Irish folk in New York?

The one’s that come to mind straight off are:

Bill Ochs (sp?)
Jerry O’Sullivan
Seth Gallagher
Joanie Madden (she IS in NY isn’t she???)

etc. etc.

Just curious…

B~

I heard from Bill Ochs this morning. He’s fine. His place is at least 2 or 3 miles uptown from the WTC. Jerry O’Sullivan is in the Bronx, I believe, which is farther away, and Joannie even farther, in Westchester.

Anyone heard from Don Meade?

It is reasonably safe to assume that Don has obtained permission from New York’s Finest and New York’s Bravest to begin clearing the way to the Blarney Star, which is but 3 scant blocks north of where the Twin Towers were. If not in time for the scheduled artists for this Friday, certainly in time for next Friday’s show (Ivan Goff, the “…Dublin-born Riverdance veteran plays the uilleann pipes, flute and tin whistle with stunning mastery and fully mature musicality.”) Actually, solid information on this important NYC Irish music venue can be obtained from its website, which is, ironically enough, http://www.blarneystar.com

Best wishes to all,
