Have been absent for quite a while.

I’m not sure if anyone will even remember me. I still play my whistles now and again, but life got very busy. I was going to school full time, working two part time jobs, taking care of my three kids, and I became guardian of a teenage cousin and caretaker of my grandmother… whew, sounds like even more than it felt seeing it all written out there.
Anyway, I graduated April with an associates of fine art degree, have gone down to one part time job, and passed on the responsibility of my troubled cousin to someone who has more time to handle such things, and will probably do a better job too.
Now, I was hoping I might ask for some help from all of you. I know there are a lot of people here that like art and look at it frequently. There are quite a few artists here too last time I was around. What I need is this…

I am going to try selling my art for the first time next month at an arts festival called “Arts in the Park” I’m going to mainly sell photos, but I have a few paintings and sculptures that I’m going to try selling too. What I am hoping for is that you might help me choose about 38 photographs to have printed to sell. You see, I have hundreds to choose from and am having a very hard time trying to decide what people might like to buy. I guess it’s kind of like marketing research, hehe. Anyway, I will post links to the photos I have available to print, and it would be a huge help if anyone that wants to could tell me which ones you like best or would buy if you were at an art fair.

Any help at all with this is so appreciated! Some of the photos in the links aren’t really sale type stuff, cause they’re my kids or other family. I don’t have my business website up yet. Thanks so much in advance for any suggestions.

PS Hi Alan and Moon and Susan and Walden and everyone else that I haven’t talked to in the chatroom in ages

You take nice photos.
From an art point of view, I like the batch in the first link–the b&w ones.

Thanks emmline  Seems that so far most people I’ve asked prefer those. Maybe I should have narrowed the color photos down a little. There are quite a few and I’m sure gets boring to look at pretty quick.

Hi. You have some very creative and imaginative photos. I’m not a
photographer so I don’t have a lot of insight to give you into the craft. I,
too, like some of the b&w. I also like most of the lighthouse series –
some nice angles and perspectives. The spiders are good, but they give
me the willies! :astonished:

Like I said, I’m not a photographer, plus my monitor’s not the clearest
resolution, either. I liked the bridge photos, but it seems to me they
would have had a stronger punch if the focus was sharper, maybe.
Again, that could be my poor monitor more than your photos.

Anyway, I enjoyed looking at them! Thanks for posting.
