Hard bottom D overblows

Hi folks,
I a problem with my hard bottom D, which I get clearly, but as soon as I make another a-gracenote, to separate a second hard D it overblows into the second octave. I found out that when I use a g-gracenote instead, it doesn’t do that, but of course the this sounds different. Is it normal for the hard D to overblow on an a-gracenote? Are there solutions like manipulating something at the reed?

Oh, by the way, another question: The chanter is in tune but overall a little flat, with the reed seating as deep in the chanter as possible. What can I do?

Cheers,
Philipp

I have to relax the bag just a smidge when hitting the second A, not enough to drop to the soft D but in between. It just takes patience and practice. Its better to hit a soft D than that shrill A.

Sorry, Phillip, I couldn´t resist:
You could change your Nationality into Chinese, call it “The Reed Of Heavenly Sound” and avoid a-graces
