Today is Winter Solstice. The Earth has come to the end of another journey around the Sun and thus begins another.

I know two people who got married on the solstice. They like to joke about how they picked the date so their wedding night could be the longest night of the year.

Going to have a nice yule feast and session tonight. Getting up tomorrow will be a hard struggle.
