HAPPY NEW YEAR 2003!

That’s so sweet, Kim. Our small ones are a treasure, aren’t they? This is only the second year that our Jo has been able to make it all the way to midnight. A couple of years ago, she had a friend over, and they tried mightily to stay awake, but both ultimately fell asleep on a pillow in front of the fireplace, and nothing we could do would rouse them for the “big hour.” Jo was so disappointed, and not even the thought that she would have the opportunity to see plenty of New Years in would comfort her. We ended up carrying them to bed, and they didn’t even open their eyes until about noon the next day!

My girl’s getting so big now, I’m afraid my days of being able to carry her anywhere are just about over, but I’ll never forget the sweet feel of a little head on my shoulder

Redwolf, my son Connor tried so hard to stay up but crashed at around 10:00… My 8-1/2 y.o daughter, Rhiannon, made it though-- until 12:45, when I forced her to go to bed.

Happy new year everyone! I was out partying with friends for the coming of the new year. I hit the rye a little hard, I’m afraid, and had already been drunk and then sober again by midnight! Oh well, I’m 19 so this is the time to make those kind of mistakes.

Hope everyone had fun!
