Are we supposed to eat a big turkey at Thanksgiving? I had sushi last night, hope that will do

Well, in theory we actually do, but I’m gonna be one of those few working tommorow, I’m at a strange job where they keep on paying me when I go on vacations, give me bonuses on top of that, allow me to work from home 2-3 days a week, but seriously don’t seem to know what a holliday is
I have tomorrow off.
It will be Columbus Day, in the USA.
I went to Canada before and it was 90ºF. Imagine that.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our long-time good friends up north.
And here Dar was thinking he needed to don his flame resistant clothing… touché ! 
It is a beautiful Thanksgiving Day here in Windsor, and several us are doing a downriver kayak drift on the Detroit River, to Amhurstburg about 40 kliks away, Also freak out the US Coast Guard, as we paddle close to the line (the border), all the while keeping a watch on the GPS, making sure that we are on our side of the river. Boy they’e paranoid these days!
