Forging ahead there Cynth!
Cynth, the only Chiffer I can think of, offhand, who takes the time to put bold tags around everyone’s name.
Always strikes me as a great honor.

Gee, I can’t remember what you get for 6000. It was something rubber, I think … ![]()

Thank you my friends.
I have been trying to think harder before I post but, for me, that is not an easy thing. And now here I am at this literally That was for you, Dale. astronomical number of posts.
I think back—did I really need to post that picture of a jello shot on fire? Did I really even need to know why you wouldn’t chew jello shots? Did I really need to post that picture of Gnomesville? Or even look it up? Did I really need to get so deeply into the Scotch tape thing? And did the lichen thread really need so much input from me? Well no
. But for a person like me, who loves the weird little things about people and places and who also has a strong goofy streak, this is a really wonderful place.
Smart people, laughing people, helpful people, funny people, kind people, knitting people, cooking people, reading people, writing people, music people, story people, pet people, different countries people, different ages people, everything people! Thank you all for providing me with such a good time!

Congratulations, Cynth. I especially enjoy your felicitous talent for finding excellent pictures.
Happy 6,000 posts, Cynth. In your free time I want to hear more about Iowa. Topics like, “does it really exist?”, etc. Thanks for being more curious than Curious George. Did anyone ever mention that you should have been a research librarian. Maybe you can go that direction in your next life. Oops! I forgot that I’m not suppose to say anything that could be construed by some to be controversial. Anyway, Cynth, congratulations for your many achievements here at Chiff & Fipple. I am curious, however, about the bulldog mask on your avatar. I know that there is a human face behind the mask.
Well done Cynth ![]()
Always interesting, always witty and above all, always charming.
Keep banging them in…

Well done! I always feel when I read your posts that you have read others’ posts carefully and given them real thought.

What a lot of lovely messages—it goes without saying that my day has been made
.
Say, my Bouledogue Francais avatar actually was adopted because of this thread started by cowtime not all that long after I joined up. If you don’t know what kind of dog you are (and wish to know), you can still take the test at the link she gives in the first post—go there and then click on “Games” on menu along the left-hand side.

Just a few of the comments made by folks posting in this thread. We haven’t changed much really
.
That thread is before my time, I think, but I just took the test and I’m a Cumber Spaniel, which I’ve never heard of. So, yeah. ![]()
The Clumber Spaniel is described as a gentle, sweet, quite intelligent and pleasant dog.
I think it’s you.
I’m so glad that you put my comments up there, Cynth! I had forgotten that I"d even taken that test, and was about to take it again when I saw what my results were to begin with
I still love that curly tail ![]()
