Hangin' with Joanie

Cherish the Ladies played a great gig last Friday and Saturday nights with the Nashville Symphony. The last time CTL was in town, Joanie Madden and some other members of the group went to a local pub to hang out and even play some tunes. I missed it!

This time, however, after the Saturday show, our dearly departed (from the message board, that is) JessieK gave Joanie a beautiful gold whistle ring she had made. Joanie then met us a little later at a (semi) Irish restaurant downtown. Below is a picture. How cool!

OK Terry, now you’ve gone and made me jealous!
I’m not that big a fan of CTL, but I’m a huge Joanie Madden fan!
I’d love to get the chance to meet her in person someday… but then I’d probably lose my composure and make a fool of myself.
I’m really going to have to get to Nashville and familiarize myself with the local Irish trad scene… my only excuse is that I’m just too lazy!

Joanie is a terrific Lady. Met with her after a recent concert here in Troy NY. She hung out to greet ALL fans and sign CDs long after the show was over. Don’t miss her in concert.

I miss JessieK’s postings.

Hi, Raindog!

I am going to see CTL (for the second time) Friday night in Kansas. Joanie and the other Ladies are very sweet and down-to-earth and will put you right at ease, so don’t worry about losing your composure! Talking to her is just like talking to your buddies here on the Message Board.

I’ll try to get a good picture to post here and ask Joanie once and for all if she does or does not vent her second-octave D (or just if it’s convenient)! I’ve got some guitar questions for Mary C, too!

Take care, I’ll talk to ya later!

Slan,
BB

Yeah, did I miss something? Where’d she go off to?

I miss JessieK’s postings.

Me too.

I believe she got fed up with a variety of things that have been going on here and she split. Just my opinion mind you.
