Hammy Hamilton Flute Question.............

Does anyone know how much hammy hamilton takes of the price of a six keyed flute when you give back two keyless sections?

Thanks for your reply.

Michael.

Hammy knows

mmmmh… is it worth to ask for a post mounted keyed’s hammy?
a Block mounted flute is more stable and… mooore beautiful!
maybe you can arrange something, try call hammy!

ps
maybe there could also be a difference in price between normal keys and postmounted?

no you don’t understand i was wondering if hammy would take back my two keyless flute sections and give me back two blockmounted keyed flute sections and use the two keyless sections as part of the payment for the blockmounted sections.

Michael

The second person to post on this thread is Hammy, himself. Like he says, he knows, so call or send an email or personal message.

lol, i’m not Hammy, i promise. i think he is plamas or something similar. But the real Hammy does indeed know the answer.

hammy = plamas

OK, I was wrong about Hammy’s handle. But I was right about the fact that “he knows”.

ya got the first three letters…

one would hope

If only I could get the first three numbers on my lottery tickets, I would like that. A $3 win isn’t much for a $1 ticket, but I have it figured out that if I bought 100 tickets, I could make some serious money. I don’t have my calculator with me right now.

ive have already emailed him and i have not got a reply yet so i was wondering if anyone here knew

michael :frowning:

tricky in base 10, innit :astonished:

Hi ryanflute,

Hammy is away until next week, drop him a line when he is back, he is very quick on replying,
I recently got a quote to pin mount keys on my delrin Hammy, so if you don’t mind pin mounted keys that would be another option.

cheers sponge

How old is your headpiece? Based on my own experience of switching from one made in 2003 to an all new keyed flute, I’d be inclined to think Hammy’s done some sort of a breakthrough as far as embouchures go. It’s either that or the wood has much bigger effect on the tone, feel and playability than I’d like to think. My new flute has an incredibly increased range of expression/whaddyawannacallit. If the embouchure innovation is indeed the case, I would seriously consider getting an all-new one and selling the keyless flute separately if I were you.

i ve been plying hammy’s keyless flute for ten years but my first one was stolen so he made me a new one in 2004 which I Like far more than the first one

michael

p.s. does anyone have a picture of hammy’s pin mounting im not considering it but I am just wondering what it looks like.

Too bad, if that second post HAD been Hammy, I’d have to rate it as one of the funniest I’ve ever seen…“Who knows what mysteries lurk in the heart of Hammy…Hammy knows…”

Great! the Conal’s flute is just a pin mounted!
I’ve tried to blow inside that “thing” but I can just manage a couple of sound…
conal have a very strange flute: an hammy’s pinned!
