oops, there is a set for sale on another site, and thats how it was spelled.thanks
I had the chance of playing a Hubert Kwisthout/Ian Mackenzie hybrid in New Zealand. Everything was nicely balanced out. I loved the tone of the deepâŚdeep sounding Kwisthout chanter and drones accompanied with the Mackenzie regulators sounded heavenly.
They sounded much like a tepered C Woof set although they were playing in the key of D. I might also add that they were easy to play.

Dan,
Most of the P-pipes Iâve seen donât have brass - theyâre stainless steel or some sort of alloy. Also the bass drone regulator is bell shaped, not round. Finally, the bags are normally synthetic.
However, Iâm no expert. I suggest you have a look at some of the pipes advertised on www.oworlds.com and similar online music shops. Thatâll give you something to compare with.
Would Kwisthout have signed his work?

Stay away from these.

These certainly look like Hubertâs style. During the 80s these would be for sale in some musicshops around Europe, selling at what would be around 1000 euro in todayâs money.
