GW Economy Booster WhOA Check Is In

Now that I have my govt tax cut check in hand I am thinking…do I want a Sindt Bb or a Burke Bb…hmmm…do I want brass, composite or aluminum…or should I save towards that 1/2 set of uilleann pipes…

Anyone else out there going to boost the whistle economy?

WhOA warning,
Ailin

If you’re in the market for a Bb, I’d highly recommend a Silkstone.
I’m also a big fan of Burke whistles, but I have never played a Bb of Mike’s.
I’ve had a silkstone Bb for about a month now, and I absolutely love it.
It has the extremely low air requirements and volume balance that are characteristic of all Silkstone whistles.
I have a Silkstone G/A set on order and I can hardly wait to get it.
Paul Hayward is an outstanding whistle maker, and also one of the nicest people you’ll ever encounter.

Alas!

Mine’s waiting for a David Daye practice set of U. Pipes. Am I a traitor or WHAT?!

B~

I have been waiting since April for an Abell Blackwood D and an A. My refund check will be paying for one of these. Can hardly wait.

My Refund cheque paid for a Burke Aluminum D, a Burke Aluminum A, and part of a Thin Weasel.

This is the hard part: Waiting for them…

My check came just in time for my lovely Copeland B-flat and mysterious Overton Modal DC

My Copeland B flat convinces me of the idea that beginners should use B-flat whistles. There is not a tone on the thing that unpleaseing to the ears. Very fun to play.

Wow, Ailin, you left Blaine speechless.
