Does anyone know if there are any tune collections on-line which give the accompanying guitar chords for traditional tunes (jigs, reels, hornpipes, slides, etc.) in addition to the melody notation?
I jam regularily with a friend of mine (bohdran player) and my wife (god bless her!) who plays a bit of guitar, would like to join in.
110 of Ireland’s Best Tinwhistle Tunes, a collection available from The Whistle Shop, has the guitar chords and melody notation. It also has accompanying CDs if you want to hear it as well.
