Thanks! Ugh, I just visited my own site. YIKES what a mess! And you guys have no idea how hard it is for me to write those instrument descriptions! I’m FAR too much of a Minnesotan to “sell” my stuff…shy, modest, non-confrontaional…(stop laughing…!) I’d rather just say “well, I like it” and leave it at that! Besides, I’m always somewhat amused by the ways we describe the sound(s) of such a simple ( 
) instrument…makes me think of wine tasters. “The boxwood add’s a rather musky woody smell like that derived from an oak keg used to store 100 year old malt whiskey, the antler gives a sort of woodsy deer-like quality that is reminiscent of early baroque hautboys” … 
A long time ago, either Frank Zappa (or Martin Mull) said that
“Writing about music, is like dancing about architecture.” 
Same with describing the sound of a whistle.
There is someone I know around here, who is a single malt whiskey maven and he sounds JUST like your example, to my ignorant ears. I frustrate him no end. I’m such a slob-- “It tastes yummy, warms my tummy and makes me feel GOOD.”
