One interesting observation - cowtime was the 77th person to submit an entry. Lucky 7’s?.. That’s spooky!

This is a real SHOCK and a first! Just checked my mail tonite and what a suprise!
I just can’t believe it,the only other time I’ve ever won something at random was when I was 6 and won a kelidoscope(?spelling)guessing the number of beans in a jar!and believe me that was a l-o-n-g time ago.
I got my number , 1881,this way- It was the date on a deed to part of our farm , purchased by my husband’s ancestor. We found this deed in a desk when we moved into the family homestead. We used this to prove to the state that the farm had been owned and continuously farmed by our family for over 100 years(actually way over 100 yrs) and Virginia certified the farm as a VA Century Farm. Don’t know why I thought of using that date , it just popped into my head, I’m sure glad it did. Actually I just really can’t believe this!
This was such a wonderful idea, and I want to do something similar someday. THANKS for this site, CDon, and you great whistlers!Ya’ll are a good group!
