We just pulled this off on my boss this morning.
Spent just over 2 hours yesterday preparing for this, and when my boss came in this morning, this is what greeted her:
The ultimate bubblewraop moment! 
I assume you did that on company time?
The thought I could not shake from beginning to end: Who cleaned up the popped balloons?
The thought I could not shake: What a cool boss.

She did!
And she didn’t even throw them away.
She has filled one glass vase with what she could, and placed dried hydrangeas in that one.
She still has about 10 pounds of balloon shards left over, which, at my suggestion, she is not intending to throw away.
Yep. Lucky me.
