Scoiltrad have been developing a series of unique interactive courses in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced categories. The initial release will include courses in Fiddle, Whistle, Flute and Uilleann Pipes. Typical courses will include ten classes and 5 strategic assessment modules. The courses offered will feature a charted development path, while the carefully planned curriculum is designed to take a student from one level of proficiency to another at a pace suited to the individual, and guided by the Scoiltrad team. Look forward to these rolling out in early December 2002.
Man I’m real excited about this! I have been looking forward to this since it was mentioned to me almost a year ago. This is great in that rather than just learning individual tunes you are actually on a course for developing your skills and making progress from one level to another… while you learn tunes.
