You have occasionally gotten my goat up, that’s for sure, but I chalked it up to your apparently “fierce” personality… and I did manage to get in a few digs of my own, in a more subtle way. But your posts can more often than not be informed and most welcome. Just be a little less fierce!

Leaving the forum for good is just yet another over-reaction, [which of course was the disease which afflicted the Rogge topic].
You, and any others who might choose that action, would be sorely missed.
We all need to be a little more circumspect about our posts, perhaps, but lively debate is always a good thing.
If we’d all been at a pub discussing “THAT” topic, we’d never have fallen out…it’s an internet thing!

I agree with the majority of posts. You shouldn’t leave, Liam. Sometimes your posts are certainly hot-blooded and more reaction than thought out, but it makes the board interesting. It’s certainly less offensive by far than a post like Pipedud’s.

I never bought the Texas story…that was an afterthought, a red herring. The first few posts had no location named. Glad to see Dr. J and Mr. H are both gone…been edited, and hurled out into that electronic graveyard forever! Can only hope the Ghost doesn’t return under a new alias!
