I have the dots and know the tune, but would like to see where the words fit especially the Scotch snaps. Don’t have a recording of it sung, yet.. Any pdfs online? I did a search and found only abcs and cheezy midis or just the lyrics.

What a wonderful site! Thanks dubh. While you’re there, listen to The Cradle Song too. Chris Norman has a beautiful version of it on The Man with the Wooden Flute. Skinner’s own, not surprisingly, is very, very beautiful.

I’ve never seen that site before and it’s great. I was playing Hector the Hero just yesterday and have always questioned one note in the transcription I have - now I hear that Skinner didn’t play it. Wonderful stuff, dubh!
